Getting There
Auto Rickshaw
To reach Kadalundi
Mangroves Eco Tourism from Kozhikode city center, find an auto rickshaw at a
nearby stand (there are many near the railway station and bus terminals). Tell
the driver you want to go to Kadalundi Road. The journey will take
approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Kadalundi Road, ask the driver to drop
you near the Kadalundi Mangroves Eco Tourism site. The entrance is well-marked,
and the driver will know the exact location.
Public Bus
Head to the nearby bus
station in Kozhikode and look for buses going towards Kadalundi. Buses with
routes heading to Kadalundi will have signs indicating their destination. The
bus ride will take around 45 minutes. Get off at the Kadalundi stop. From
there, it’s a short walk of about 10-15 minutes along Kadalundi Road to reach
the Kadalundi Mangroves Eco Tourism site. Keep an eye out for signs along the
way.
Walking
If you are staying in a
nearby area, you can walk to Kadalundi Mangroves Eco Tourism. Start at the
nearest landmark to Kadalundi Road, such as the Kadalundi Railway Station. From
there, head towards Kadalundi Road. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers
until you reach the entrance of the eco tourism site. This walk will take
approximately 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
